• I took a star because the first atlas I received was missing some pages and had duplicates of others. Luckily, one of those states was one I needed to reference so I noticed right away and exchanged it for a replacement (quick and painless). I did check every page of the 2nd one and it's fine. So, check your copy if you buy!
• As I write my review, only 2 other reviews have been done and both commented on imperfections. My father is old school and prefers using a road atlas to chart his travels and requested I buy him one.
  
  Mine arrived correctly with no pages duplicated or missing so I assume they may have corrected the problem.
  
  He's happy with the 2018 Rand McNally Road Atlas.
• Not very happy with this purchase. It seems there must have been some mix-up when this atlas was being bound because pages 49-56 (Michigan, Minessota, and Mississippi) are missing and instead pages 41-48 (Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, and Massachusetts) are duplicated here. Disappointed because we bought this to go on vacation and now we're going to have to return this atlas and go without one because there's not enough time to order a replacement ( I hope all the atlases aren't like this. Don't buy if you need maps for Michigan, Minnesota, or Mississippi.
• Probably the best road atlas in print. Perhaps it's my age but there is so much information crammed into every square inch that it almost requires a magnifying glass to sort it all out. Printed on good stock with a healthy flexible cover.
• I know in a world of Nav systems and smartphones, these are ancient, but I can tell you its nice to have this if you travel. Our 2017 F350 Nav planned to take us up a County Road in Colorado, which turned out to be a "trail", not exactly a road for a 9,000lb truck and 40ft long trailer. We verified this with the Road Atlas before heading down that path. Not only did it save us 2 hours, it saved us from potentially getting stuck in a mountain in Colorado. (your results may vary).
  
  Easy to read (its a big size), but looking at smaller roads, its what you want. Pays for itself FIRST TIME you do not get lost. Even with Nav.

• This purchase replaced my long, heavily used atlas. I love being able to see the "big picture" not just a portion of an area on a phone or pad.
  Having an atlas on hand has saved me numerous times--I can't go on an adventure without my trusty atlas. I get the regular print not the enlarged version so most states show on one page. Rand McNally is the best, by far better than others I've had
• This is the road atlas to have to back up your GPS. I have been using a new one each year to help plan road trips. It’s not as convenient as the spiral bound BUT information is lost between pages in that format.
  I have used this to get out of traffic jams etc on the road. Like to get a new one each year. Inexpensive enough.
