"We bought this for our 8 year old grandson. His dad is a CRNA. He enjoyed reading the book, but it was really too young for him. Probably 6 years would be a better cut off for age. The book does have nice drawings of the equipment used in anesthesia and a nice explanation of equiptment and what CRNA's do. Would recommend this book for younger than 8 years old."

- Suitable for children of all ages. Cute rhymes, well-illustrated, and good content. Recommend for children having surgery or those interested in what goes on in the work day of a nurse anesthetist. Nice glossary at the end explains the medical terms well. Bought 3 copies and plan to buy & gift more!
- This is a fantastic book! Well written and illustrated! I personally think it is appropriate for all children but is especially great for children of nurse anesthetists, children who show an interest in science or healthcare related fields and it is also a great purchase for any child who is about to have surgery, explaining to them who will be with them and how it will work! This book will make a great addition to your child’s library!

Wish it were that easy to bring my kids to bring your kid to work day — since we can’t usually participate in this fun day, this book provides a nice introduction/explanation to our kids about what we do daily. Thank you for writing such a great book! - Beautifully illustrated, well written for the kids. Illustrations with the names of the tools of their "trade". If a kid has any fears of an upcoming surgery, this could help them see and understand what some of things that will happen. Highly recommended for kids and parents alike!!

We haven’t read it together yet because she’s a newborn, but I love it. Great job! - I really liked this book! It's great to be able to "show" kids what it is that you do since you can't take kids back to the OR.
- I bought a copy for each set of my second cousins so they’d know what I do, and what nurse anesthesia is. Now they get it!
